High-tech and yet down to earth

In our continuously expanded and modernised production facilities and workshops, we produce a wide variety of hard metals from powder mixtures in a sophisticated sintering process under one roof. We then use them to manufacture blanks for tools and machine parts. In further processing steps, these precision parts with tolerances in the thousandths of a millimetre range are ground, honed, eroded, lapped and polished, among other things.

The specialists at Rotodur AG produce sophisticated special tools, precision machine parts for extreme loads and wear, as well as hard metal parts in the micro range for all applications. Rotodur’s hard metal products are used both in Switzerland and far beyond the country’s borders. 20 dedicated and highly qualified specialists work at the company’s head office in Gränichen. The company also owns the Rotodur SA subsidiary in Biel, which is home to 10 equally experienced and highly specialised employees.
